If you need a break from relaxing by the pool, then there are always long walks in the countryside around the property, cycling, horse-riding and golf locally, canoeing on the Dordogne or Vezere and fishing in the many rivers - a "carte de peche de tourisme" is valid for two weeks and can be purchased from the local "Presse" (Newsagent/Bookshop).
